The NBA Finals 2014 will serve as a rematch between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs starting on Thursday, June. Game 1 of the NBA Finals will be played in San Antonio.
San Antonio beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in overtime, 112-107, on Saturday night. The Spurs earned last Finals slot with a 4-2 series win against the Thunder.
Boris Diaw led San Antonio with 26 points. Veteran superstar Tim Duncan added 19 for the Spurs while Kawhi Leonard and Manu Ginobili had 17 and 15 points each.
Russel Westbrook had a game high 34 points for OKC. League MVP Kevin Durant scored 31 points for the Thunder.
Last Friday, the Heat dominated the Indiana Pacers, 117-92, to grab the Finals seat for the fourth consecutive year. Miami is trying to be the first team in 12-years to win a three-peat.
The Heat won the 2013 NBA Finals against the Spurs after a gruelling game seven series.
