As featured at NBA, Miami Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder (104-98) despite Thunder‘s Russell Westbrook making 43 big points and Kevin Durant finishing off with 28 points, with LeBron James suffering from leg cramps during the final quarter.
During the first quarter, Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the scores which most of them came from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, and even led 17 points at 33-16, with Miami Heat finding it hard to run but cutting the lead to 14 at the end, 33-19.
In the second quarter, the Heat came back as Mario Chalmers came in to help LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade, who hurt his back during the remaining 7 minutes but returned shortly after and ended the quarter by cutting the lead of OKC to only 3 points, 49-46.
In the third quarter, Miami made a successful offensive run against the OKC Thunder as Chalmers, Bosh and James continue to shine despite Westbrook and Durant scoring back. The Heat, courtesy of Chalmers‘s 2 points tied the game at 52-all; and Miami finished the quarter with a 4-point lead, 79-75.
For the fourth and final quarter, Chalmers continued to play the game of his life and was supported by James and Bosh, but Westbrook could not allow the Heat to make an easy win. The score was tied at 90-90 with around 6 minutes remaining in the game, and was followed at 92-all and later at 94-all.
However, Miami played offensively enough and OKC could not defend the ball easily and the Heat eventually won at 104-98. LeBron James made a total of 26 points, while Wade and Chalmers had 25 points each, and Bosh had 13. Game 5 will be this Thursday, June 21, still to be held in Miami.
