Dallas Mavericks tied the 2011 NBA Finals best-of-seven series with a Game 4 victory against the Miami Heat, 86-83, on Tuesday night, June 7, 2011 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, as reported at NBA.com.

Dallas forward, Dirk Nowitzki, managed to lead the Mavericks in offense despite playing with a flu. He scored 10 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, despite a miserable 6 of 19 field goal.

It was another come-from-behind win by the Mavericks versus the Heat to tie the series at two games apiece.

Dallas outscored Miami, 21-9, from the 10:12 mark of the final quarter to avoid going down, 3-1 , a deficit where no team has ever comeback  in a finals series.

Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, Chris Bosh added 24 points for Miami. However, the missing link in the Heat’s offense is LeBron James who only scored eight points on 3 of 11 shooting. His nine rebounds and seven assists were overshadowed by his poor offense that contributed to the Miami loss.

Miami was leading 74-65 early in the fourth quarter but Jason Terry started the Dallas run to snatch Game 4 from the Heat. Terry scored six straight points and ended their run with two free throws with 6.7 seconds left, to put the pressure on Miami to take a 3-pointer which Mike Miller missed.

Game 5 of the 2011 NBA Finals best-of-seven series will be played on Thursday, June 9, at the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, Texas. Check the complete games schedule of the 2011 NBA Finals here.
