Terrence Ross won the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest during the All Star Weekend at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Saturday, February 16, 2013.
The Toronto Raptors rookie snatched the 2013 Sprite Slam Dunk title from last year’s champion, Jeremy Evans.
Ross garnered 58 percent of the fan votes for his two dunks in the final round over Evans‘ 42 percent.
The Raptors rookie, Ross, earned a slot in the final round after beating Indiana Pacers‘ Gerald Green and New York Knicks‘ James White in the Eastern Conference group elimination round. The 2012 Slam Dunk King, Evans, won the Western Conference elimination round from Los Angeles Clippers‘ Eric Bledsoe and Denver Nuggets‘ Kenneth Faried.
NBA fans voted for the 2013 NBA Slam Dunk winner via text message, Twitter, 2013 NBA All-Star mobile app and at NBA.com.
