NBA 2010-2011 Season Complete Opening Schedule of Games

The 2010-2011 NBA Season will have its opening tip off on October 26, 2010 (October 27 in Manila). It will surely be a promising start for the new NBA Season, as star studded teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are making their debut on opening night.

The Boston Celtics, 2009 NBA Finals runner up, will be up against the Miami Heat at 7:30 pm ET. Miami now has a formidable lineup with the addition of superstar LeBron James and Chris Bosh. James, a two-time MVP, has opted to leave his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and signed with the Heat during the offseason. Bosh also left Toronto to join James and Wade in Miami. The Celtics on the other hand has acquired the services of behemoth Shaquille O’ Neal to add more size and depth in the Boston bench. O’ Neal will join other Celtics superstars Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen.

Phoenix Suns led by Steve Nash will play against the Portland Trailblazers at 10:00 pm ET. The Suns have lost Amare Stoudemire to the New York Knicks during the offseason.

The defending 2009 NBA Champion Lakers will have their debut against the Houston Rockets at 10:30 pm ET. Kobe Bryant is again expected to be the leader of the Lakers in their 2010-2011 NBA Season. The Lakers have preserved the core of their 2009 NBA Champion team. All eyes will also be at Rockets giant center, Yao Ming who is making a comeback after undergoing surgery in his injured foot. –
