According to a report at NBA.com, Shaquille O’Neal may not suit up for the Boston Celtic‘s game against the Detroit Pistons. The Diesel is reportedly suffering from a bruised knee he sustained during the Celtics game against the New York Knicks. O’Neal has already missed two consecutive practice sessions due to the injury.

Instead of joining practice, O’Neal and Kendrick Perkins, another injured Boston player, did a therapy for their injured knee. The good news for the Celtics is that Jermaine O’Neal has returned to practice and will probably play against Detroit.

Jermaine O’Neal and rookie Semih Erden will fill in the shoes for Shaq in the Celtics-Pistons game.
