NBA 2010-11 Season: Miami Heat gets win number three vs New Jersey

LeBron JamesThe Miami Heat routs the New Jersey Nets, 101-78, to register their third win of the NBA 2010-11 Season after losing their opening night game against the Boston Celtics. LeBron James led the Heat with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. This is the first time that James led the team to victory. James got help from Chris Bosh who scored 18 points and Dwyane Wade with 17 points and seven assists. The Nets was led by Brook Lopez with 20 points and  five rebounds while, rookie Derrick Favors added13 points and 13 rebounds.

It was all Miami Heat in the games as they race to an early 15-4 lead and never looked back. Defense also helped the Heat to victory as Nets starting forwards Travis Outlaw and Joe Smith, failed to score.

The Miami Heat next game schedule will be on Tuesday vs. Minnesota, Friday @ New Orleans. The New Jersey Nets will be up against Charlotte on Wednesday, Friday @ Orlando. The two teams will meet again on Saturday in Miami.
