NBA 2010-11 Season: Hawks vs Cavaliers Update

The Atlanta Hawks and the Cleveland Cavaliers will play against each other at 7 pm ET. According to an NBA.com report, the Cavaliers have announced that Antawn Jamison will be inactive due to a sore knee. During Cleveland‘s first three games of the NBA 2010-11 Season, Jamison averaged 6.3 points on 7-for-22 field goals.

The good news for the Cavaliers is that Mo Williams will be playing for the first time after he missed practice with a sore groin and death in the family. According to the NBA report, Williams will not be part of the starting lineup of Cavaliers coach Byron Scott.

The Hawks’ meanwhile, also has an injured player in its lineup. Jeff Teague will be a game-time decision due to a perceived eye infection. The Hawks‘ backup point guard has been averaging 5 points and 1.3 assists per game.

The Hawks have a 3-0 record and they are the only unbeaten team in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland has a 1-2 record.
