NBA 2010-11 Game Results: Paul Millsap’s career high 46 points fuels Jazz overtime win over Heat

The Utah Jazz upsets Miami Heat in a pulsating 116-114 overtime victory at the American Airlines Arena, Miami, FL, according to NBA.com. The win put the Jazz above .500 and a 4-3 record in the NBA 2010-11 Season. The Jazz rallied from a 22-point deficit in the early part of the game and Paul Millsap forced overtime as he scored on a jumper with 1.3 second left in the fourth quarter. The Heat leads the Jazz 75-62 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Jazz however made a run and that gave them the lead at the 6:20 mark. Regulation ended tied at 104.

It was a nip and tuck affair in overtime with the Jazz prevailing over the Heat after FranciscoElson made two free throws with 0.4 remaining in overtime. House missed a desperate 3 point shot as the overtime ended.

Millsap led all scorers with a career high 46 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for the Jazz. He got help from Deron Williams who delivered 21 points and dished off 14 assists. Wade again lead the Heat with 39 poinst and 6 rebounds. LeBron James got his 29th triple double of his career, with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists. Chris Bosh, part of the Miami Big Three, added 17 points.

It was the first home loss for the Heat in the NBA 2010-11 Regular Season.
