MTV Video Music Awards 2011, Partial Winners: Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga with the Biggest Surprise from Beyonce

The MTV Video Music Awards 2011 partial winners as announced on August 28, 2011 included Britney Spears who won “Best Pop Video” with her “Till the World Ends,Justin Bieber for Best Male Video for his song “U Smile,” and Lady Gaga who also won “Best Video with a Message” with her song “I Was Born This Way.”  This is according to reports by entertainment sites, August 28, 2011.

Other contenders for the “Best  Pop Video” were  Adele  for “Rolling in the Deep,”  Bruno Mars for “Grenade,” Katy Perry for  “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”  and  Pitbull for “Give Me Everything.”  For the  “Best  Video with  a  Message”  the other nominees  were  Eminem (featuring Rihanna) for “Love the Way You Lie,” Katy Perry for “Firework,”  Rise Against for “Make It Stop (September’s Children,)” Taylor Swift for “Mean,” and Pink.

The other winners for the MTV Video Music Awards 2011 are:

Katy Perry (featuring Kanye West) “E.T.” for “Best Collaboration,”

Nicki Minaj “Super Bass” for “Best Hip Hop Video” 

Foo Fighters’  “Walk” for ‘Best Rock Video

Selena Gomez was also part of  the  pre-awards  event  and  she  interviewed  none other  than her  on and off  boyfriend Justin Bieber. There were surprises for the night, like Beyonce Knowles with a bump, who came in a stunning orange, Grecian gown apparently pregnant. This was unexpected so it proved to be the biggest surprise for the 2011 MTV Awards Night. Lady Gaga also kissed Britney Spears as Joe Calderone, her alter ego.
