Motorola Xoom Now Available for Sale at Price Tag of $800 Contract-Free

According to several technology news sites, Motorola Xoom goes on sale in the United States on February 24, 2011. It is available at Best Buy for $800 contract-free or via Verizon with a two-year data contract for $600.

As reported last month, Motorola Xoom is Motorola‘s first ever tablet computer. It was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and was awarded CNET “Best of Show” award.

Motorola Xoom is the first tablet to run on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).
