MotoGP 2011 Results: Dani Pedrosa Wins German Grand Prix

A great start by Dani Pedrosa in Sunday’s MotoGP 2011 German Grand Prix, at the Sachsenring circuit in Germany, turned into a victory and tightened the race against his rivals Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner, according to a report at MotoGP.com on July 17, 2011.

Pedrosa of Repsol Honda took the lead for good on the 21st lap of the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland race against Yamaha Factory Racing‘s Lorenzo and another Repsol Honda rider, Stoner. It was the Spaniard’s 2nd victory after coming back from a surgery and his 5th GP victory at the Sachsenring circuit.

Stoner retains the lead in the 2011 MotoGP championship with 168 points. Lorenzo now trails Stoner by just 15 points, while Dovizioso is in third place with 132 points.
