Moscow TU-154 plane crash injuries reached to 83

The injuries in the TU-154 plane crash in Moscow now reached to 83 from the initial report of 40, according to international news sites.

As earlier reported, two people have been killed and 40 have been injured after a TU-154 passenger plane made an emergency landing at the Domodedovo Airport in Moscow.

Apparently, three of all the engines failed that caused the plane to skid off the runway, as the plane forced to shutdown its two engine minutes after it took off.

The Dagestan Airlines‘ plane, which was said to be flying to Makhachkala, tried to make an emergency landing but the third engine eventually failed.

Earlier news also said that the plane had 155 passengers as told by Russian officials, but Guardian said that the emergencies ministry website announced that it was carrying 168 passengers and eight crew members.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Health Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on their website that the 83 injuries passengers are now being treated in 5 different hospitals.
