Mocha Uson Uses Philippine Flag in the Cover of Mocha Girls New Music Video Album

Mocha Uson, leader of Mocha Girls group, reiterates that she did not disrespect the Philippine flag when it was used as part of the cover of her new album, according to reports by local entertainment sites on Friday, March 2, 2012.

The shooting of the latest music video album of Mocha Girls entitled “Pinay Ako” (I am a Filipina) were reportedly done at Lensmate Studio in Macapagal Blvd., Pasay City. The album is produced by Playboy Fragrances and Bell Haus Entertainment.

Mocha explained that the concept of the music video is to show how they are proud being a Filipina. She adds that the Philippine flag is the best symbol of their concept.

The leader of Mocha Girls also claimed herself as a “modern Filipina” that is brave and “open-minded.”

Some reports say that the National Historic Commission and moralist group are expected to criticize the use of the flag by the Mocha Girls.
