The two-story wooden house of Zuria Ali has disappeared mysteriously in Kampung Bakau, according to a report by StarProperty.my on Friday, March 11, 2011.

The 60-year-old Ali went to his house to collect the rent from his tenants only to find out that his home is gone. With all the walls and pillars of Ali‘s house missing, only the twenty-four concrete pillar holders, pieces of wood and a damaged television were left.

The main components of the house were all missing together with the furnitures, cutlery, cupboards, a dining table and a refrigerator.

Ali inherited the house from his parents and estimated that he lost about RM30,000 in property.

Based on the account of Ali‘s neighbor, Ah Kiung, three men with a trailer arrived and “dismantled the house in early February.”

The missing house has been confirmed by Kangar OCPD Supt Abdul Rahman Mohd Noordin who received the report.
