Ms. Domonique Ramirez, winner of Miss San Antonio 2011, won her case against the organizers of the pageant, who has previously  stripped her of the crown due to an alleged weight gain. This is according to Texas local news sites, March 26, 2011.

Ramirez stated that the pageant bosses told her to

“lay off the tacos and the junk food.”

Linda Woods, the pageant director said that Judge Barbara Nellermoe’s decision sends a wrong message to the young:

“that they can breach contracts and violate authority  without consequences.”

Judge Nellermoe however, had no choice but to hand down the decision based on evidences presented.

The 17 year old beauty queen, denied the allegations and would move on to compete in the Miss Texas and Miss America beauty pageants
