Miss America 2011 Preliminary Winners Announced (Pictures)

Here are the results of Miss America 2011 preliminary competition held on January 11-January 13, 2011 as reported by MissAmerica.org:

On the first night of the preliminary competition, Miss North Carolina Adrienne Core was named as the preliminary Talent winner for her clogging performance to “Soul Man.” She will receive a $2,000 scholarship. Meanwhile, Miss Hawaii Jalee Fuselier was named the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner. She will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

On the second night of the competition, Miss Rhode Island Deborah Saint-Vil was named Wednesday night’s preliminary Talent winner for her vocal performance of “Smile.” A $2,000 scholarship will be given to her. Meanwhile, Miss Alabama Ashley Davis was named the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner in a black Swim ‘n Sport swimsuit. She will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

On the third night of the preliminary competition, Miss Nebraska Teresa Scanlan was named Thursday night’s preliminary Talent winner for her piano performance of “White Water Chopped Sticks.” Meanwhile, Miss Oklahoma Emoly West was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner in a black Swim ‘n Sport swimsuit. They will receive $2,000 and $1,000 scholarship respectively.

Miss America 2011 grand coronation night will be held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on January 15, 2011. This year, the Miss America Organization is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
