As revealed through US Magazine report Saturday May 14, 2011, that Miranda Lambert finally wedded American Country Music artist Blake Shelton.

It was confirmed through the exclusive report of US Weekly, that the couple was married late Saturday evening at Texas’ Don Strange Ranch.

As noted by US Weekly, Lambert, 27, walked down the aisle wearing her mother’s wedding dress in front of about 550 family members and friends (including Reba McEntire, Cee Lo Green, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Charles Kelly and the Bellamy Brothers).

Apparently, US Magazine attests Lambert saying, “I’m married to my best friend! Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter.”

Additionally, report moreover stated that Shelton, 34, was likewise quoted saying, “I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it’s official!”

Similar report confirms that the couple has been dating since 2006, and that he asked for Lambert‘s hand in marriage last May.

“I fumbled it up a little,” he told US Magazine of the proposal. He was further quoted, “It’s funny how you rehearse those things and go over what you want to say, but I probably screwed it up.”

Fortunately, as reported, Lambert didn’t seem to notice. She purportedly says, “He did a really good job,” she insisted. “He’s always nervous around me, though – and that’s how I like it!”

Related reports validate that this is the first marriage for Lambert; Shelton was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003-2006.
