Mike Mitchell‘s unpublished photos of The Beatles during their first US concert in 1964 went on show in London on June 10, 2011, Friday, reports said.

The fifty unseen photos of The Beatles were being displayed at Christie‘s auction house and at the Hotel Marriot at Grosvenor House in London. This is to give people a chance to have an intimate glimpse of the band before being moved to New York for the auction sale and also to raise awareness among potential bidders for the scheduled auction on July 20, 2011.

The photos which were said to be auctioned by Christie‘s in their sale “The Beatles Illuminated: The Discovered Works of Mike Mitchell” were expected to fetch 100,000 pounds (113,000 euros/$162,000), according to reports.
