Michael Jackson’s Doctor, Conrad Murray, has to stand trial for involuntary manslaughter of the famous pop icon. Entertainment news sites reported, January 11, 2011.

Michael Jackson passed away last June 25, 2009 because of propofol over dosage. Propofol is a strong anesthetic substance used to reduce pain.

Dr. Conrad Murray allegedly gave a toxic dose of the anesthetic causing the demise of Jackson due to cardiac arrest. Murray had pleaded “not guilty.”  If convicted of the crime, he would be incarcerated for 4 years.

Judge Michael Pastor ordered the trial for manslaughter to proceed, though.

Michael Jackson’s memory is still heard in his songs, which have earned him billions of dollars posthumously.
