Miami Heat wins over the Philadelphia 76ers, 97-87. After being embarrassed in Boston, the Miami Heat (1-1) bounced back with a vengeance to register their first win after two games in the NBA 2010-11 Regular Season. The Heat torched the Philadelphia 76ers (0-1) offensively in the first three quarters. Dwyane Wade, who only shot 4/16 fg in the Heat’s first game, led the offense with 30 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks. Surprisingly, James Jones scored 20 points and outscored LeBron James, 16, and Chris Bosh, 15. James, however, turned the ball over 9 times.

Miami ended the third quarter leading by 26 points. Early in the fourth quarter, Philadelphia tried to make a run by scoring the first nine points of the quarter against none for Miami. However, the early big lead of Miami is too much for Philadelphia to overcome. Evan Turner led the 76ers as he scored 16 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.
