McDonald’s US to provide 50,000 jobs on National Hiring Day

McDonald’s in the US is set to provide 50,000 jobs on what is being dubbed as ‘National Hiring Day‘, which will be deployed in major parts of the country.

According to US news sites on Monday, April 4, 2011, fast-food chain McDonald’s announced that it will hire to as much as 50,000 employees on April 19, 2011, which will fall on Tuesday.

Apparently, McDonald’s, which is based in Oak Brook, Illinois, is aiming to will fill-in 50,000 job positions, part-time and full-time, from crew members to managers to corporate employees, in preparation for the upcoming months of summer.

McDonald’s, whose current employees have reached to nearly 1.7 million worldwide, told reports that the job hiring ads will be published on various print magazines and in social media such as Twitter.

This latest McDonald’s hiring scheme is being expected to add three to four positions on each restaurant branch across the US.

All interested applicants are being invited to visit McDonald’s official website on April 19, or to apply personally on one of the 14,000 restaurant branches nationwide.
