The Masters 2011 leaderboard is no longer occupied by Tiger Woods who had previously dominated the tournament in the past. Two favorites Alvaro Quiros from Spain and Rory McIlroy from Ireland lead the game with a 7 under 65 score. This was reported by US sports news sites, April 7, 2011.

McIlroy played a perfect game in the opening golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia that sports enthusiasts have counted him as one of their bets to win the Masters 2011 tour.

Tiger Woods is still in the contest with his 71- shot, but he has to catch up with the near perfect games of his contemporaries. Another player in the lead is Phil Mickelson with a 70, who is the defending Masters Tour champion.
