Martin Luther King Day 2012, a national holiday in the US, has a long list of activities on January 16, according to reports by several international new sites on Sunday, January 8, 2012.

Reports say that the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) will hold a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade and events on January 16. A Muskogee NAACP Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Martin Luther King Center, 627 N. Third St. It will be followed by the Stop The Violence Youth Pizza Party until 12:30 p.m. The NAACP MLK Day Unity Parade will start at 2 p.m.

Lake Michigan College will be having their 12th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Diversity Award as part of their MLK Day program.

Three 2012 Martin Luther King Legacy of Freedom Awards will be presented from January 12 to January 16 by the Andrews University.
