Singer Mariah Carey increases her security, after her feud with fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj last year. The Mariah Carey-Nicki Minaj feud back in early October last year that apparently started with their disagreement over an audition performance of a contestant in North Carolina, and was caught on video.

Carey, 42, is now ready to talk about it again, and was recently interviewed by Barbara Walters on “Nightline” at ABC, aired Monday night, which will be on its last broadcast at 11:35 p.m. ET after more than 30 years. It will be moved on its new time slot 12:35 p.m. ET starting this Tuesday.
“Anytime anybody’s reeling threats at somebody, you know, it’s not appropriate. I’m a professional. I’m not used to that type of environment.” Carey told Walters, adding that she increased security personnel to protect her in case something bad will happen.
“I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do,” she said. “Sitting there on the road with two babies, I’m not going to take any chances.” Carey added, who also talked about her about her music, being a mother to twins Moroccan (son) and Monroe (daughter), and her struggle with the health of her husband Nick Cannon.
“It was very serious, but he’s got some great doctors who really got in there and helped him out and at this point he is doing great. He’s better than ever.” The ‘Hero’ singer said of Nick, who was hospitalized for kidney failure early January last year, forcing him later to leave his radio show “Rollin’ with Nick Cannon.”
