Despite two earlier losses, Manny Pacquiao is still the heavy favorite going into his bout against Brandon Rios at The Venetian Macao hotel in Macau, China on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

The Pacquiao versus Rios fight is expected to bring out the best on the Filipino boxer as he dedicate the bout to his countrymen that was badly hit by Typhoon Haiyan last November 8.

Profitability of having Pacquiao in boxing is still very much evident even though he has suffered consecutive losses against Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez. According to a Forbes report, Pacquiao’s career earnings is expected to reach $300 million after his fight versus Rios.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum revealed that Pacquiao will receive a guaranteed $11 million and an additional $7 million from MP Promotions. Rios is reportedly guaranteed $4 million. Arum said that Pacquiao could earn up to $30 million if they will have a good pay-per-view subscribers.

A win by Pacquiao over Rios will definitely open up the clamor of a fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr., who still refused to face the Filipino boxing hero.

If Pacquiao wins vs Rios, will a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather 2014 bout push through?
