Seven-time world division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao seems to be on his way for a new record, but this time in the field of singing.

On Monday, GMA News reported that Manny Pacquiao records his ‘Sometimes When We Touch‘ version with its original singer, Dan Hill, who also composed the said song.

It can be remembered that Manny Pacquiao sang this song on the November 3, 2009 at Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was also said to be his first singing performance on American TV.

And while it is Coach Freddie Roach who usually gives tips to the boxing superstar, Dan Hill also gave Manny Pacquiao some tips on how to sing with passion and feelings.

Manny has this sort of sweetness and earnestness and a gentleness when he sings (the song), that is very powerful and alluring,” Dan Hill said on the interview.

However, Manny admits to GMA sportscaster Chino Trinidad that he feels ‘pressured and scared’ while singing, more than boxing.

Below is the news video of Pacquiao while he is recording Sometimes When We Touch with Dan Hill, which was featured in GMA’s 24 Oras.

Incidentally, Manny Pacquiao has been reported earlier to be appearing again at Jimmy Kimmel Live.

This time, the world-famous boxer and politician had a duet with Will Ferrel as they sang John Lennon’s legendary song, Imagine.

Meanwhile, these extra curricular activities of Manny Pacquiao do not seem to distract him as he continues to prepare for his fight against Antonio Margarito on November 13 (November 14 in Manila).

The Pacquiao-Margarito fight will be held at the Cowboys Stadium in Texas, and is being expected to be a tough match for both boxing warriors.
