Pacquiao is Top Ranked Welterweight of Ring Magazine

Ring magazine, considered as the “bible of boxing“, has listed new World Boxing Council (WBC) super welterweight Manny Pacquiao as its top Welterweight boxer in the world, according to Ringtv.com. Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now in second place among the worlds top 147-pound fighters. Pacquiao is also Ring Magazine‘s recognized pound-for-pound champion.

Pacquiao recently won a unanimous 12-round decision over Mexican Antonio Margarito in a 150-pound catch weight. According to Ring Magazine‘s editorial board, Pacquiao has elevated his standing in the 147-pound division with his masterful victory over  Margarito at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Pacquiao has now won eight boxing titles in eight different weight divisions. Team Pacquiao held a victory concert party at the Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
