According to international news sites, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has announced his readiness against Mexican Antonio Margarito. Pacquiao is currently training at the Wild Card Gym owned by American coach, Freddie Roach.

“I’m 100 percent ready,” Pacquiao declared. The announcement of Pacquiao was made in front of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., international media, members of the Los Angeles Fire Department and other spectators. “Just waiting for fight time,” Pacman added.

Pacquiao has regained his speed after being slowed down by his weight during the early part of his training in Baguio City.

Pacman has already sparred against light but quicker fighters such as: David Rodela, Rashad Holloway and Ray Beltran. Pacquiao‘s previous sparring partners are Glen Tapia and Michael Medina.

According to his Filipino trainer Buboy Fernandez, Pacquiao is now weighing at 147.5 lbs.

Team Pacquiao‘s fight plan is to ensure that Pacman‘s weight is at 148 lbs during the weigh-in and not more than 150 lbs during the actual fight.

Pacquiao, the Filipino boxing hero, will face Margarito in a 12-Round bout for the World Boxing Council’s vacant super welterweight title on November 13 at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
