Wayne Rooney posted a picture of his head on Twitter and tweeted about his new hair transplant saying, “Hi all there’s my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that’s all normal,” as reported in various international news sites, June 6, 2011.

According to reports, the 25-year-old footballer confirmed via Twitter that he indeed had a hair transplant to grow his hair back, however he admitted suffering slightly after the procedure.

Reports also confirm that the picture he posted was released moments before he, wife Coleen and baby son Kai headed to their annual summer holiday.

As revealed by related reports , Wayne had further tweeted his 750,000 followers citing, “I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 – why not. I’m delighted with the result.”

As he jokingly added, “My head is bruised still. I promise I’ll send a pic on Monday when bruising goes. Anyone recommend a hair gel?”

“I had it done in Harley street hair clinic London. Thanks to all the staff who looked after me,” he further commented.

Apparently, Coleen, his wife, also tweeted: “Hiya!! Yes waynes had his hair done! His own decision not me asking him, like alot are saying!! Pleased for him and it will look great x”.
