Magnet boy in Brazil attracts metal objects to body, reports say (Video)

A so-called “magnet boy” in Brazil is being reported to be attracting metals objects to his body and now is getting a lot of attention, as shown in the video below.

According to international news sites on Saturday, July 09, 2011, the Brazilianmagnet boy” is 11-year old Paulo David Amorim, from Rio Grande do Norte state.

Apparently, Amorim was said to be able to attract different metal objects to his skin including spoons, scissors, knives, and others, and was recently featured at TV Globo in Brazil.

Junior Amorim, Paulo David’s father, told TV Globo in an interview that he learned about the story of a 6-year old “magnet boy” from Croatica last May and tested the same thing to his son.

“I asked him to pick up a fork, he brought a fork and a knife. I put him in the belly and chest, and to my surprise, joined.” Junior Amorim reportedly said, noting that he did not expect it to work.

On the other hand, the Brazilianmagnet boy” said that his classmates asked him to show his “extra powers” to prove that it is for real.

“In school, everyone is asking me to put things in the body, thinking it is a trick.” David was quoted as saying, after being translated to English.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dix-Sept Rosado Sobrinho, their family doctor, reportedly told TV Globo that it was the first time he saw such a case in his 30 years in service, noting that there is no risk in Paulo David’s health.
