Mad Men, Modern Family lead 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards winners (complete list)

The drama series “Mad Men” led the winners of the 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Monday, June 20, 2011, with the complete list of winners available below.

As noted on various entertainment news sites on Monday, AMC’s “Mad Men” won three major awards that night for the inaugural of the Critics’ Choice Television Awards including the Best Drama Series.

In addition, Jon Hamm won the Best Actor in a Drama Series award and Christina Hendricks won the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series award for their roles in “Mad Men“.

As reported earlier, ABC’s “Modern Family” had six nominations including Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress won one award, the Best Comedy series.

The first Critics’ Choice Television Awards night was made possible by the newly formed Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), an offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.

The 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles and hosted by “So You Think You Can Dance” host Cat Deeley.

Meanwhile, veteran actor Danny DeVito was awarded the Critics Choice Television Icon award, who said on his speech that actors should be thankful for the “great business” in the entertainment industry.

According to Critics Choice, the show’s highlights will be shown at VH1.com and the entire show will be telecast on ReelzChannel on June 22 at 8 pm (ET), 11 pm (ET) and 2 am (ET).
