MacBook Pro Models, Upgrades Speed and Storage

MacBook Pro notebook models were upgraded by Apple Inc. by adding up speed and storage, according to reports by several international news sites on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.

Apple reportedly launches the new premium MacBook Pro models but maintains their original prices.

The 13″ MacBook Pro model, now comes with a processor speed of 2.4GHz, dual-core chip standard and 500GB hard drive, is still being sold for $1,199. Customers can opt to upgrade it to 2.8GHz chip and 750GB hard drive for $1,499.

The processor of the 15″ MacBook Pro model was upgraded to 2.2GHz quad-core i7 processor and 500GB hard drive standard, for $1,799. Upgrading it 2.4GHz chip and 750GB of storage will cost $2,199.

The 17″ base model of the MacBook Pro, starting price is $2,499, was upgraded to 2.4GHz i7 and 750GB hard drive. Both the 15″ and 17″ models will now have an AMD graphics upgrade.

All MacBook Pro models comes with the Thunderbolt technology and FaceTime HD camera.
