The Arab world will finally have its own supercar with the entry of Lykan Hypersport by W Motors, a Dubai-based car manufacturer. Lykan Hypersport, a luxury sports car, is aimed to compete with the style of Lamborghini cars.

W Motors, a start up car maker, will debut its Lykan Hypersport supercar at the 2013 Qatar Auto Show, that runs until the second of February. A full-scale model of Lykan Hypersport will be displayed during the motor show. The supercar, reportedly built in collaboration with Magna Steyr Torino, is made of carbon fiber and other light materials.

A Lykan Hypersport, capable of speeds up to 390 kmph, will be sold for about $3.4 million.

RUF‘s midship flat-six engine, that can produce 750 hp and 738 lb/ft of torque, will reportedly power up the Lykan Hypersport.

Lebanese Ralph Debbas reportedly started the design of the supercar since he was still an automotive design student.

Among the features of Lykan Hypersport include headlights with diamond-encrusted LEDs, gold-plated hood and a “holographic display” on the windshield.
