Sarah Palin and Lisa MurkowskiLisa Murkowski was interviewed last Thursday on NBC‘s “Today” show and criticized former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who rallied for the official GOP senate nominee, Joe Miller. On national television, Murkowski said that Palin‘s endorsement did not get Joe Miller where he wanted to be and that she would never support Palin for president.

“I’m looking for somebody that has a breadth of experience not only in government but truly a more worldly approach. And I don’t think that Sarah Palin has it.” Murkowski firmly said on NBC‘s Today show.

Murkowski ran as a write-in candidate in the general election when Palin chose to endorse tea party candidate Joe Miller over her. Lisa Murkowski is confident with her write-in campaign for re-election. However, Alaska officials did not started yet the opening and counting of write-in ballots. Nevertheless, the label “write-in” currently leads in the state vote tabulations.

According to election reports last Wednesday, write-in votes got 41% of the ballots in Tuesday’s election. Joe Miller had 34% and Scott McAdams had 24% percent. The schedule for the counting of write-in ballots start on November 10.
