According to a post at LisaMariePresley.com that day, Lisa Marie has agreed to share the father-and-daughter duet video with CMT, after around 25,000 Elvis fans have watched it during the 35th Anniversary Concert at the FedEX Forum in Memphis on August 16, 2012.

As noted in the announcement, Lisa Marie recorded her voice for “I Love You Because” last August 8, after it was suggested by producer T Bone Burnett. The video was created four days later, and was intended for the tribute concert for the 35th death anniversary of her late father, Elvis, who was referred as “the King.”

The song “I Love You Because” was first recorded by Elvis Presley on July 4 and 5, 1954 at Sun Studio. It was written in 1949 and originally recorded by Leon Payne. It has been covered by several artists throughout the years, including Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Matt Monroe, among others.

Apparently, the ‘Lisa Marie, Elvis duet’ video was a personal project for Lisa Marie, where she also introduces her four children as the continuation of Elvis‘ legacy. Lisa Marie has a son and a daughter with Danny Keough, whom she married in 1988. She also has twin girls with music producer Michael Lockwood.

Back in 2007, a Lisa Marie-Elvis duet video was also released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of the “The King of Rock and Roll.” That time, Lisa Marie, the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, added her voice in the song “In the Ghetto,” a song recorded by Elvis in 1969.

Lisa Marie Presley released her third studio album “Storm & Grace” on May 15, 2012, having “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet” as the first single to be released. She also has a 10-day concert, which will start on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi.
