As featured on NBA on Sunday night, Jeremy Lin made 28 points, a career-high 14 assists and led his team to win again, after their first lost via New Orleans Hornets last Friday, where he scored 26 points, 5 assists but with 9 turn-overs.

As noted in the report, Dirk Nowitzki of defending champion Dallas Mavericks had big 34 points but not sufficient against New York Knicks, with Lin making 16 points in the second half including a three-point shot with 2:57 remaining in the game.

Lin, 23, who rose to fame after making 25 points off the bench in a 99-92 win over New Jersey on February 4 and leading his team to seven consecutive wins, is being predicted to continue showing more skills and charisma in his succeeding games.

Apparently, the game also featured J.R. Smith, who signed with the Knicks last Friday after playing for the Chinese Basketball Association during the lockout, scored 15 points in 30 minutes on 6 of 16 shooting, including 3 of 9 from 3-point range.

Meanwhile, KnicksCarmelo Anthony, who was not able to play for the last six games due to a strained right groin, was not allowed to play again, but is being expected to play this Monday, against the New Jersey Nets.
