LG Dual Core Optimus Big Smartphone to be released in South Korea

LG Optimus Big, a smartphone with dual core 1GHz processesor and sporting a 4.3 inch WVGA display will be launched on April 28, 2011 in South Korea.

According to GSMArena.com, the LG Optimus Big smartphone has been officially announced as LG LU6800 and will be available in Korea only.

LG LU6800 comes with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, runs on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system out from the box.

According to several tech news sites, the LG LU6800 will be exclusively available via LG U+ (LG Uplus) South Korea’s third largest mobile phone service provider. LG U+ was the previously known as LG Telecoms.

Rumors was circulating since March 2011 that LG Corp was set to launch another smartphone with 4.3 inch display in addition to the LG Optimus 3D.

The official release of LG LU6800 in Korea confirmed that March LG Optimus Big rumors.
