As noted at TMZ on Thursday, August 18, 2011, “Inception” actor Leonardo DiCaprio is the new owner of the rare hybrid sports car, a 2012 Fisker Karma, which made its debut in 2009 Los Angeles car show.

DiCaprio, 36, known to be an environmentalist individual, bought a Toyota Prius in 2006, another notably famous green car which Henrik Fisker has been inspired him to build the Karma.

Back in February, a report at AutoBlog.com said that the 2012 Fisker Karma may cost from $95,900 to $108,900, with its default mode at Stealth and can go 50 miles on a single battery charge.

In addition, this 255-horsepower electric car can accelerate at 60 mph 7.9 seconds and powers a 175-kW generator while in Sport mode with a maximum range of 300 miles.

According to reports, former vice presidential candidate Al Gore and former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin Powell will be next personalities to buy one.
