As noted at Auto Guide on Tuesday, the bright red LEGOLAND Florida edition Explorer weighs 2,654 pounds and was created 22 designers and is supported by a 768-lb aluminum base.

Ford is excited to support the alliance between LEGOLAND Florida and the Southeast Ford dealers.” Ford Experiential Marketing manager Tracy Magee was quoted on the report.

“The LEGOLAND Florida Explorer and the Ford Driving School attraction are great opportunities to showcase our products and safety messages to families and visitors in a unique way,” Magee added.

The LEGO Ford Explorer is on display at the Chicago Assembly Plant, but will be making its way to the new Ford Driving School at the LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park, which will open this coming Oct 15.

The LEGOLAND Florida Explorer will be loaded in a trailer, which will have transparent sides so that can be viewed by people and drivers as it travels to the 150-acre Florida theme park, just outside Orlando.

This unique LEGO Ford model will finally be parked in front of the Ford Driving School for Children, a place where kids can get behind the wheel and experience the feeling of being a car driver.
