Latest Pulse Asia Survey shows President Noynoy Aquino with High 80% Trust Ratings

According to the latest survey results posted by Pulse Asia on its website, President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III still enjoys a very high 80% trust ratings. The controversial Quirino Grandstand incident last August 23, 2010 and other issues being thrown at PNoy‘s administration during its first three months did not greatly affect President Noynoy Aquino‘s trust and approval ratings. The Pulse Asia survey shows that 8 out of 10 Filipinos still trusts PNoy.

The Pulse Asia survey, which covers the period October 20-29, showed that 79% of Filipinos approves PNoy‘s performance, while 80% expressed their trusts on President Noynoy Aquino III. A total of 1,200 adults participated in the October 20-29 survey. It has a margin of error of plus/minus 3%.

Issues that hounded the Aquino administration before the conduct of the interviews includes the following:

  • IIRC report on the August 23 incident
  • Jueteng payola received by government employees
  • Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections
  • Granting of amnesty to Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and over 300 military officers.

The nationwide survey of Pulse Asia is based on a sample of 1,200 adults who participated.
