Lakers wins 7th straight game vs Blazers in the NBA 2010-11 Season

The Los Angeles Lakers cruised to their 7th straight win of the NBA 2010-11 Season by winning over the Portland Trailblazers, 119-96, at the Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA, according to NBA.com. The Lakers have seven players who scored double digits, led by Lamar Odom with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Pau Gasol delivered his first triple double of the NBA 2010-11 season as he scored 20 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and issued 10 assists. The rest of the players for the Lakers who scored with double figures are, Shannon Brown (15 points), Matt Barnes (13 points), Kobe Bryant, and Derek Fisher contributed 12 apiece, while Ron Artest added 11 points.

The Blazers were led by Andre Miller with 20 points, and Nicolas Batum added 17 points.

The LA Lakers raced to a 27-14 first quarter lead and never looked back. They continue to pile up the points in the second quarter to end the half at 58-36. The Lakers continued to be hot in the second half, and Portland was not able to make any headway.
