Lakers vs Celtics: Kobe Bryant now 8th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list will lead LA against Boston

The Los Angeles Lakers (33-14) vs Boston Celtics (35-11) live game will be shown on ABC, at 3:30 p.m. EST (12:30 p.m. PST), at Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA, on Sunday, January 30, 2011. Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, who took over the 8th spot in the NBA‘s all time scoring list, is expected to lead LA in their first game against the Celtics in the 2010-11 NBA Season since winning the 2010 NBA Finals against Boston. The Lakers-Celtics game will also be shown live on US TV and Radio Channels that include ESPNR, WEEI, KSPN and in Canada on CHCH TV.

Bryant scored 38 points, pulled down 4 rebounds, issued 7 assists and 3 steals during their game against the Sacramento Kings on January 28, 2011. The Lakers won the game against the Kings,  and Bryant passed Olajuwon in the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Bryant, youngest player to score 26,000 points in the history of the NBA, now ranks among the league’s scoring leaders at 6th place with an average of 25.1 points per game in the 2010-11 NBA Season. He is currently the leading vote-getter for the 2011 NBA All Star game at Staples Center which will be shown live on TNT at 8p.m. ET, February 20, 2011.

Paul Pierce (18.9 ppg) and Ray Allen (17.1 ppg) are expected to anchor Boston against LA together with big men, Kevin Garnett and ex-Laker player Shaquille O’Neal. Rajon Rondo, averaging 12.5 assists per game, will orchestrate the Celtics offense.
