According to international entertainment news sites on Sunday, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber won two awards each during the 2011 MMVA night, with the 25-year old pop superstar performing twice on the show.

Lady Gaga opened the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards with her performance of “The Edge of Glory“, wearing green wig and black catsuit and won the International Video of the Year award for “Judas“.

Lady Gaga also closed the show with her “Born This Way” via her famous egg vessel, as she also received the UR FAVE International Video award for that song.

“I love you so much, little monsters in Canada. This award was the most important one to me because it’s from you. You are so beautiful.” Lady Gaga reportedly said as she receives the award.

Nevertheless, she also greeted her dad a “Happy Father’s Day” and remembered the date for E Street Band’s Clarence Clemons who played a sax solo on her “Edge of Glory” song, as the latter passed away last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber won the UR FAVE Artist award for “Somebody to Love (Remix)” featuring Usher, with her girlfriend Selena Gomez, who is the show co-host, presented him the award.

“I want to say thank you so much to all my fans, you guys are amazing,” Justin Bieber was quoted as saying, while receiving the International Video of the Year by a Canadian award.
