Kobe Bryant wins 4th MVP NBA All-Star, leads the West victory (148-143)

Kobe Bryant won his fourth MVP award NBA All-Star at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night, after leading the West Conference to win against the East with the score of 148-143.

Bryant, who became first athlete to have his hands and footprints outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Saturday, scored 37 points with 14 rebounds on Sunday, his first double-double in an All-Star game, according to ESPN Sports.

“It feels great, being at home here and playing in front of the home crowd,” Kobe Bryant tells the Lakers fans after receiving the MVP trophy.

“This will be my last All-Star game in front of these home fans, so it feels good to do it.” The 32-year old Los Angeles Lakers star player added.

Along with his 13th NBA All-Star game appearance, Kobe Bryant now joins Bob Pettit as the only two NBA players to win four MVP NBA All-Star trophies.

On the other hand, LeBron James lead the East with a triple-double, with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to join Michael Jordan as the only players with a triple-double in the NBA All-Star game.
