Kobe Bryant willing to play in London Olympics 2012 for Team USA

LA Lakers‘ star player Kobe Bryant says that he is willing to play in London Olympics 2012 for Team USA, as published in Los Angeles Times on Tuesday.

According to the news reports, Kobe Bryant made the announcement when he appeared on Mike Krzyzewski’s SIRIUS XM radio show on the same day.

“You guys want me there, I am there and I’m ready to defend,” Bryant apparently said after being asked by Mike Krzyzewski, who happens to be the coach of Team USA basketball and Duke.

“And then when you guys need me to put some points on the board, I’ll do that, too.” The 32-year old NBA superstar added.

In the past Beijing Olympics 2008, Kobe Bryant was said to be have played a vital role to Team USA in winning the gold medal, but never played for the team since then.
