Kobe Bryant: First Athlete to have a star in Hollywood outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater

Kobe Bryant, will become the first athlete to have his hand prints and foot prints in the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, according to international sports sites.

Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, will join Hollywood celebrities Marilyn Monroe, John Wayne, Brad Pitt and many others who had already set their hands and feet in the cement outside the Hollywood theater.

Setting the hand prints and foot prints outside the Hollywood Theater is an honor being given to the brightest and most glamorous film stars in Hollywood. Reports say that, this will be the first time that an athlete will be given such an honor.

Bryant, a 12-time NBA All-Star player with five (5) championship rings and an Olympic gold medalist, will be setting his hands and feet in a cement during a ceremony on February 19, in front of the luxury Hollywood movie theater. The occasion will be one of the highlights of 2011 National Basketball Association’s all-star weekend festivities in Los Angeles.┬áThe 2011 NBA All-star game will be held on February 20 at the Staples Center Arena.
