Kindle E-Reader Will Soon Be Available at Walmart

Engadget reported on Sunday, May 6,  that Walmart would start shipping and selling Amazon’s mighty Kindle 3G and ad-supported Kindle in the 3200 stores across the United States with in this week.

Kindle will be added to the existing e-reader, the Barnes & Noble Nook Color and Borders’ e-reader the Kobo, which already available in Walmart.

Kindle has been available at Target and Best Buy for some time now.

It will be sold at a price of $189 for the wi-fi with 3G Model and $139 for the wi-fi only model and $114 for the wi-fi with “special offers” model — matching Amazon’s own prices.

E-book has experienced a steady growth for the last year.
