Kim Kardashian apologizes to fans for early divorce, denies she made millions from wedding

Kim Kardashian apologized to her fans on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 for the early divorce from Kris Humphries and categorically denied she made millions out of the wedding.

According to Kim on her official website, she married Kris because of love and denied that the marriage was only to make money. She also apologized and thanked her family and friends for supporting her.

“First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!” Kim wrote on her official website on Tuesday.

“I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly.” She added, and apologizing if she has hurt anyone.

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this.” Kim said on the allegations that she and Kris made $17.9 million, with the wedding reportedly cost about $20 million.

Earlier, comedian Rob Delaney said he is suing Kim Kardashian, Ryan Seacrest, E! Entertainment Television and Comcast for $18 million; claiming that the marriage was not for real.
