According to TMZ this Friday, September 7, 2012, sources intimately connected to the show told them that Khloe Kardashian, who is known to be the wacky one among her other famous siblings, is the front-runner to be the host of ‘X Factor USA Season 2‘, which will premiere this coming Wednesday, September 12.
As noted in the report, Simon Cowell believes that the 28-year old ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians‘ star makes the most sense when it comes to audience draw among the other unnamed ‘X Factor‘ host candidates; and could be an additional attraction to young audience just like show judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
Khloe, whose husband NBA star Lamar Odom recently returned to LA Clippers as part of a four-team trade, has reportedly at least 85% chance of being the next ‘X Factor‘ host; and if she will be selected, she will be replacing Steve Jones, who had the same fate with the Season 1 judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.
As of this writing, Fox and ‘X Factor USA‘ have not yet released any statement as to who will be the next show host, but producers are being expected to make a decision soon, with Cowell recently claiming that its competitor, NBC‘s ‘The Voice’ is playing “dirty tricks” when it decided to air its third night also on Wednesday.
